Zenith are a big name over in England and Europe. Some Zenith carbs are way over the top in complexity. There are two branches of this company. The American Zenith carb & the European. Not a popular carb and most are not worthy of rebuilding except for vehicle restoration where original is obviously needed. For all other applications, Weber made a perfect carb for direct replacement of the Zenith which made a huge difference in economy & performance. When the budget is tight though there is generally no choice but to re-kit them. Common problems with any Zenith were linkages, throttle shaft wear and warped faces. |
