Hard to pick between Weber & Holley for the title of worlds best carby, but I would have to go with Weber. The DCOE, IDF & IDA carbs were infinitely more adjustable and could be tuned for any application. There are a vast array of adaptor plates available to fit almost any Weber to any manifold. Weber even have OEM replacements for your old worn out original carb. The weber range is huge and is the best choice for when your carby just isn't rebuildable anymore or the cost to do so is greater than a conversion. Performance gains over the stock carbs are always noticeable if the correct choice is made. |
